View Linkedin ProfileBill Bryant is currently working as a career, transition and development coach. In early 2024 Bill completed a coaching course aligned to ICF and WABC credentials. Bill has continued interest in sustainability, coaching and within that career / role / geography / industry transitions, cross-cultural management, business development and using mentoring as a tool for talent development.
Prior to this, Bill served as Managing Director for the APAC and MEA regions for Stolt-Nielsen Ltd, a maritime logistics company, from 2014 to end 2023 based in Singapore and from 2011 to 2014 as M.D. of MEA region based in Dubai. From 2019 through to end 2023 Bill also headed up Sustainability for the Stolt-Nielsen Group driving the strategic approach to sustainability together with experts within each business. In these roles his primary focus was general management of all activities of the Stolt-Nielsen group in the regions, board governance for all joint ventures and business development for the group.
Prior to this time, he held various technical, commercial, marketing, business development and management roles in a variety of companies in the petrochemical, chemical and mining sectors.
He served most of his early career in South Africa later moving to and working in a variety of commercial and management roles in Hong Kong, Dubai, Singapore, China, Germany and Indonesia from 1998 to 2023.
Bill graduated from the University of the Witwatersrand with a B.SC (Eng.) degree in Chemical Engineering in 1985 and an MBA from Wits Business School in 1992.
